Driven by a dedicated local committee, Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF Canada) will be hosting their annual Breakthrough T1D Walk in Thunder Bay at Marina Park on Sunday, June 1, 2025. The Walk is the largest global event for the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community – driving research, advocacy, and support to improve lives for those living with the disease. The Walk is a fun, engaging, and inspiring family-friendly event where participants, volunteers and sponsors come together to change the future of everyone living with T1D. When you support the Walk, you help Breakthrough T1D move our mission forward and get us closer to cures.
